On Rocky Beach, a propeller driven aircraft enters the lurching. A few suitcases fall from the cargo area and the aircraft must make an emergency landing. On the next day, the Three Investigators get an anonymous phone call.
A famous magician claims the luggage belongs to him and asks them to find the suitcases.
